I'm looking for an amp that has 2 component outputs and video upconversion (from composite/S-vid to component).

The reason is so that I can feed both my projector and LCD with component.

For the PJ, I want to use 2 inputs so I can vary the settings: HDMI for DVDs (ambient light is low) and YUV for games and Sky (higher ambient lighting).

With many amps, this leaves only S-video output for the LCD - I want to feed it YUV.

I've seen from pictures that the new Denon AVR-3806 has 2 component monitor outs, but are there any others in a similar or lower price bracket?

    Cheers,
    pingu.

    Hi,

I'm not sure about any receivers with 2 outputs. However have you seen this.

It takes a single component feed and splits it into 2 outputs with apparently no drop in quality.

    Hope this helps :)
