which amp?

Hi everyone,
I'm not really that well versed in home cinema so some advice would be great. I'm looking a buying an a/v reciever to go with Mordaunt short mezzo 6 and later expand to the full mezzo 5.1 setup. I've narrowed down my search to the yamaha rx-v1067 or the marantz sr6005 which one do you think would be best for the mezzo's?

Both amps would work well with the Mezzo speakers from a tonal perspective and it's going to be down to personal choice re the sound they produce as to which sounds best to you.

TBH, with those speakers, the level up amps wouldn't be out of order and probably a better choice if you can push the budget. That would be the Yamaha 2067 and Maranz 7005. You should also consider the Denon 3310 as well in that amp level.
