Im really unsure of what to get, Any help would be great. I have a budget of £400 for the amp & speakers.

The kit ive been looking at getting:

Onkyo 507 amp & ONKYO SKSHT528 speakers

Its main purpose will be for ps3 games, blurays and also music.

Really dont have the room for large speakers as you can see here:

I would be tempted to replace the Onkyo speakers for the Tannoy SFX ones.
You would imagine the Onkyo speakers would match Onkyo amps but I have seen at least one thread on here describing them as bright and hence not a good match to the bright Onkyo recievers.

Ok mate thanks for that, Ive been looking at those speakers but i didnt/dont see why they are better than the onkyo speakers. Also can anyone tell me if i would notice the difference between HD audio and standard audio when watching blurays on a starter speaker package such as the onkyo/tannoy 5.1 speaker packages?

I hope you understand what im asking

Even on a budget system you will benefit from HD audio IMHO. The improvement is subtle but worth it for the more imersive experience it will give you.
You really need to go demo the 2 different speaker options to see how they sound to you. Everyones ears are different so need to make the choice that is right for you. It will also let you know if there is a difference between them for you.

Do you have an AV/HiFi specialist near you. Osmething like Suprfi/Audio T etc.
These will all have demo rooms to try things out. RS are really just a 'stack them high and sell them cheap' kind of place. You really need to go hear a few options for yourself.

See my sig, i recommend this setup on a budget, pay more and you will get more however. I've heard the Tannoy SFX setup and they are good but the sub is a bit limp wristed.

IMHO none of the sub Satelite speaker packages are going to be particularly good with music. There is just too big a gap between the lower frequencies the satelite speakers can do and the sub. This makes the sub have to work a lot harder than it should to make up. However, this all depends on what you normally listen to music on. If you have a cheap midi system then they will not be too bad but if you have a proper separates system (even a budget one) then you will be disappointed. As above a demo will tell you which side of the fence you are.
