Don't know about the other two, however I can recommend the Yamaha. I have the RSX version - it was only £9 more - and have never been happier with a piece of kit ;)

Although I couldn't possibly recommend the Yamaha AX620 more, no one on this forum can or has a right to tell you what to buy. The only person who can decide which amp is best for you, is yourself. If you think you've narrowed yourself down to these three then try your hardest to get demo's of all of them, in as similar cirmcumstances as possible to those in which you will be using the equipment. In your own home if at all possible.

Only then will you know which amp to buy.

    i see your point
i thought the ax620 would be good after reading reviews etc
but then i saw the rxs800(also excellent reviews) which seems more future-proof if there is such a thing and excellent value for money.
see im not the type of chap to chase trends and upgrade for the sake of it.i justy want to get a half decent setup that i can live happily with for a good few years.
only problem with getting a demo is that i think the rsx 800 has just been discontinued so there arnt that many about ...anyway enuff rambling from me
i think i'll get one of the yamahas as i know nothing bout the vsx c 300,i suppose ya gets what ya pay fer in the end

    thanks for the replies btw
    cheers :)
