I want to get more control over the parental controls available to me as the Virgin offering is poor in this area.

I want to use OpenDNS for this and therefore need to put the Superhub into modem mode and connect a separate router in order to use my own DNS service.

As I will be doing this, I thought it would be useful to buy one of the new AC routers.

Are there any that people have used with the SuperHub and can recommend ?

I had an Asus router before too which didn't let me down. Yeah I recommend it. I'm sure the ac68 will be great too if you need it.

I would recommend the Asus AC-68U over the 66 IMO it's a faster and overall better router.

Thanks, I ended up buying the Netgear R7000.

So far, it has performed impeccably and with a significant increase in speed. I was able to measure 150Mbs download speed through my wireless connection, pretty impressive.
