Currently have a 55inch Samsung MU7000 which we sit around 15 feet from.

Bought a 75tu8000 and it went back due to a fault (also had awful DSE).

Then tried an LG 75UN8500 which had terrible backlight bleed.

Thinking I might wait for the 75Q70T to drop in price. Would that feel like an upgrade over the MU7000 we currently have? Its mostly used fo movies and gaming.

Have a look at these useful guides.....
and work out which panel type you need: VA or IPS.

That will help refine the shortlist.

the other main aspect is budget, and what you watch (ie sky HD? Netflix UHD?, freeview, etc): if you want to see the benefit in 4K/HDR, you will need a sizeable budget for a 75”...

if you can wait till Black Friday, that is when @Dodgexander will publish his new guide?

If you intend to use HDR the baseline models you should consider are the Samsung 75Q80T or Sony 75XH9505. With Samsung the more you spend, the better HDR you'll get.

Lower end TVs like the Sony XH9005 or Samsung Q70T don't really make the cut for HDR, but are fine for non-HDR use. They will only be small upgrades to your current TV compared to the others.

75" is a niche size, discounts don't come as fast as other sizes in the UK. You may be better off considering a higher end 65" TV instead, as you'll get better HDR that way. Its up to you to decide on size versus quality though as 15ft is very, very far to view. I'd consider a projector at that kind of viewing distance.
