Good afternoon,

Unfortunately my Panasonic TX-P 50 G20B has been damaged.
I am looking at the following as replacement:

1. LG 55 EG920V OLED
2 .SAMSUNG 55 KS 9000
3. PANASONIC 58 DX902
4. SONY 55 XD9305

I am only concerned for movies, cable tv and occasionally sports.
I do not care for games.

Which tv will best suit my needs?

Thanks in advance

I guess the OLED might be the best. Though that's an old model - without HDR. If you get that and it doesn't do HDR you'll miss one of the main features of UHD BD etc. Whereas other OLEDs have just come out that do HDR (but are expensive). It also won't get as bright as the Panasonic and other LCDs.

I'd guess the 2nd best TV is PANASONIC 58 DX902, and it's HDR capable, and would have the best picture of the LCDs due to full array direct lit local dimming - whereas I expect all the other LCDs are edge lit. But it's 58" not 55".

Thanks for your replies.

As regards the oled LG EG920V I was told that it's capable of HDR.
Also as per hdtvtest the 920V is capable of HDR.

For the dx902 i dont mind for the exrta 3 inches and assume that it should be better than the 802.
