Hi,

Convinced the wife a 4K tv is a good buy.
That was surprisingly easy, now the hard bit!
I am looking for a 50 or 55 inch TV with at least 4 HDMIs.
I asked an assistant in Currys about sets that had HVEC , HDR ( now or via a future firmware upgrade)and Hdcp 2.2 and he didn't have a clue. I also need a Xbox one and ps4 friendly lag setting too.
Probably a big ask but there anything on the market that hits all the above requirements and comes in under £1200 ?
Any thoughts and suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks
Darren

Do you need 3d? If not the Samsung 6800 is a grand.

You are best buying something half decent now and upgrading later as the new decent TV's such as Samsung 9000/9500 are expensive and still have issues. The LG OLED on offer at Currys is about the best bet for future proofing but at £2250 for 55" isn't cheap so you're best getting a good standard 4K one for now.
