Hi,

I am looking to buy a 37' Panasonic TV either the TX-L37V10B or the TX-L37G15B.

There doesn't seem much info on G15 and was wondering what the difference between the two was and what would be the best one to go for.

Hi,

I am looking to buy a 37' Panasonic TV either the TX-L37V10B or the TX-L37G15B.

Dynamic contrast of V10 is 100,000:1, whereas G15 is 50,000:1.
G15 seems to have more input options than the V10.
V10 can do picture-in-picture, G15 can't.
Small difference in dimensions and weights of the sets.

Other than that I don;t see much difference between the two on using the Panasonic website 'compare' facility. I have the G15 myself and love it!

Thanks Domino1999,

Its good to know that you rate the G15, will see what prices I can get.

The V10 is fully calibrated so you should get a much more natural picture, not really anything you can't achieve by tweaking the G15 though

Think I might go for the V10, but read that there were issues with the sound and vibrations. Have they fixed this or is it ongoing.

Anyone bought one recently?

Not sure if Panasonic have solved the vibrations problem but i have read they will repair your set FOC if you do experience any problems.

Ben - By tweaking the G10 do you mean opening up the service menu to access calibration settings?
