    Hi,
I want to get a 32" LCD TV and am looking to spend around £1000-£1300. I will probably buy from John Lewis as they offer 5 years warranty as standard or costco as they offer 3 years warranty and are pretty cheap or so I've heard. I don't want to buy online because of poor warranties and delivery will be a problem for me. I will primarily use it to watch freeview, DVDs and play on my PS2. Unfortunately I can't get sky because I live in a listed building and cable is not available in my area.
Anyway, what do people think of the following sets?
    1. Toshiba 32WLT58
    2. Hitachi 32LD7200
    3. Samsung LE32R41BD (Nearly bought this today but John Lewis in Newcastle are out of stock till next month)
Any advice would be appreciated because I've spent hours looking online and am now very confused. Cheers.

Also consider the Sony KDL-S32A12U. This features a light sensor which dynamically adjusts the brightness according to the ambient light in the room. The result is excellent contrast in different viewing conditions without manual adjustment.

I'm very happy with mine - I think standard definition picture performance is good. Upscaled-to-HD DVD material looks absolutely fantastic.

I was recently looking for a 32" LCD and tested almost every 32" LCD TV on the market at the moment (regardless of price) and came to the conclusion that the Samsung LE32M61BX is the best 32" LCD TV money can buy at present in my opinion. It sits very nicely within your price range, and I would very strongly recommend that you see one before making any decision

Only downside is that its only available at Sevenoaks so you will only get the 12 month warranty with it
