I had done my research, and one of the mags recommended the Philips 28PW8608, which normally sells for around £600. I found it on the net for £369, so placed my order, only to be told the next day it was discontinued.

So, which 28" tv would you get? I'd like it to be 100hz if possible, as I don't plan to change again for 10 years or so. Anything bigger than 28" would probably be too big.

    Thanks in advance!

You don't mention how much money you want to spend.

It's like asking which car to buy. Everyone will have a budget and an opinion. Best advice: Do some research and make a shortlist. Then go to a shop, and "test drive" them (to continue the analogy).

You soon see which is "best" for you.

I want to spend less than £600, hopefully near £400. I don't want to go to a shop until I have more of an idea really.

At the moment, I am thinking of the Panasonic TX28PS1 (or12) or the PL1. Or maybe the Thomson 28WH4035, or the Sony 28 FX68U.
