I am in the market for a 26" LCD.

It will primarily be used with games consoles (Xbox, PS2, GC etc.), and must be HD ready for the new wave of consoles (PS3, Xbox 360 etc.).

I have been looking at the following models:

JVC LT-26DS6 - Seems to cover most things, but is a bit pricey

Philips 26PF5520D - Seems good value, no Component Video, is it fully HD Ready?

Sharp LC-26GA3E - Seems ok, DVI not HDMI

Also, feel free to recommend any other models!

Picture quality is the most important thing to me. Sound is handled by a seperate Amp, so not an problem if the onboard sound is poor.

Please can you give me some advice?

    Thanks

    Marty

Have a look at the LG 26LX2R its got all the connections you could want, "Hd-Ready" at a rather affordable price. I'm getting mine next week...
