Currently I have a Denon 3802 and a Mission FS2AV speaker kit. The DVD player will probably be a Denon 2910 - unless anyone knows of a better option for around £600? I'm looking to spend around £2k on replacing the speakers with either a 5.1 or 6.1 speaker kit. They have to sound good with music as well as film but also look good. All the speakers have to be the same colour and be of a light wood finish - birch, light beech etc. For positioning, the main speakers can either be standmount or preferably floor mounted. The centre can be either wall or standmounted. And all the rear/side speakers must be wall mounted. One final requirement is that any 5.1 packages must be easily upgradeable to 6.1 with another pair of matching same make/range speakers. So the only options I have found are: - Quad L series 5.1 package for £1930ish Acoustic Energy Aelite 5.1 for £1900ish Any other suggestions or thoughts on the above? Thanks in advance.
