Need a ps3 to play Rocksmith and also bluray. Any good refurb deals out there. Google isn't giving me much joy.

I'd like to get a deal for under 100 pounds including p&p.

Won't happen. Even the old PS3's sell for around £135+ on eBay.
Even a refurb Xbox 360 Elite is more than £100.

Well, to be honest, you could buy a complete brick, a right turd from ebay for spares, and pay Sony £130 or whatever it is to get a fully working refurb, but even then, it's only gonna have a short warranty, unless you can wangle a longer one out of them.

So all in, it will still set you close to what a split new slim costs.

I would stay away from repaired ones or supposed refurbs, and if you must go old school 60gig, then get a dead one, and pay Sony, for a working one.

But best bet is a new slim, at least then you will have peace of mind.

Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it. Buying a console, whether it be Xbox or ps3 is a minefield.

So what sort of realistic ball park figure should I be looking to pay for a second hand PS3 (just a basic model with no games or other stuff).
