I've got a Samsung 26" HDTV, but i would like to go a little bigger, so i would like to sell the tv, to put money towards a bigger tele.

eBay isn't too good for this as I don't know how to arrange delivery? and i don't live near a motorway for easy access!

    any ideas?

"don't know how to arrange delivery" ?????????????

shouldn't be too hard to figure that out. Ever heard of Royal Mail, DHL, UPS, City Link.

My local independant store offer part exchanges. Might be an easy option if you can find a similar offer near where you live?

sorry dude, i just hate relying on people to do stuff for me ie Royal Mail

cos ive sold stuff with ebay before, and like sent an item and it got lost in post for a few days, so the buyer gave me bad feedback!

so for delivery, how much you reckon it'd cost to send a 26" tv first class delivery?

oh and how much do you think i'd get for a 6 month old, perfect condition samsung LE26R87BDX?

I bought it for £420. So im guessing i could get £300 maybe? probably too optimistic!

    cheers

How about selling it in the classified forums not a million miles from this post ;)... as for delivery wouldn't a courier be cheaper than parcel force/post office...etc

    Hi,

New Samsung Le26's seem to be going for £330 - £499 depending on the model.(Nextag lististings) Try Pricerunner for the new price of your model, and price yours accordingly.then put it on the Classified Forum.

You never know, you might get interest from someone who can collect!

I can't sell on the forums as i am not 18 yet! 5 months till my 18th birthday :(

I could ask my dad to sell it for me on here? would that be acceptable?

I'm not sure this is for this area of the forums, so if moderators need to move it to an appropriate section, then do so.

I'm looking for £300-£350, reckon that'd be a good price range?

    Thanks

you are correct this isn't the place to sell, I would suggest you ask a mod from the classifieds if you can let your dad sell it for you in there, I'm not up on the rules regarding the forsale forums.
