You should be OK with DVD Soon, as they mark everything $12, but be prepared for dual language packaging.

CDWow are usually fine with customs - I've ordered some stuff that's been over the £18 customs limit with no problems, inc a box set.

If you do get stung, I'm pretty sure they refund the charge for you.

Well, I don't know if all their R1's are sourced from Canada but
some of the discs I've had from them have dual language covers.
They are a great site though.

Yes, same here with CD Wow. Good prices, no customs as they ship larger items from within Europe, but you may risk dual language packaging. This is a problem with this item, and a dilemma I struggled with for some time. It looks like I will be getting mine from DVD Soon, as I ordered it from them ages ago, and you can't cancel old orders at the moment. It's a question of weighing up the cost against the dual language packaging. I found that to have a R1 shipped from a US retailer, would have cost at least £10 more than getting it from DVD Soon, so reluctantly I opted for the cheaper option, and will have to tollerate French writing on one side of the box. You could try Movietyme. They ship US copies, and will refund customs charges if you get stung.

    New info here,

I mailed cd-wow about the US/CANADIAN Indy Jones, and got this reply :)
    And I quote:

    Hi,

Thanks for your message. I can confirm that we will be stocking the US
edition, which is uncut, and exempt of bi-lingual covers.

We tried to include something in the title to confirm it was the US one, but
there wasn’t enough room in the title!

I will try and include something in the product spec.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

    Best regards

    Mark - CD WOW!

So there ya` go, can order it from there, and get no french, maybe even use vouchers too

When did they decide to release it uncut?
This is great news, I didn't want to buy it because it was going to be cut.
    Made my day. :)

Go to the item in pending orders then hit 'cancel this order'.

Though I can handle Canadian if it means saving £7.

Yeah, the problem is, you can't cancel older orders (I ordered this in June), since they upgraded their system. They say that they will accept returns of any unwanted items, if they could not be cancelled, but it's a hassle isn't it. As you say, the saving may justify the french cover, but I do usually try to avoid them.
