Where's my DTS on DMRE55??

    Anyone else experienced no DTS output on a DMRE55?? I've only tried my non-R2 discs though, but nevertheless.......
    Any help/idea's would be appreciated.

    Have u set it to play DTS via the menus (i think this needs to be done to make it work ?), i'll have a look on mine & get back to u.

    press the functions button, then select setup, then sound, then digital audio output, highlight DTS, set it to BITSTREAM.

    U should now here DTS

    Yeah, if you change the DTS setting from PCM to Bitstream, you will be able to get your amp to decode DTS and get DTS sound. The PCM setting is for those that do not have an external DTS decoder but want to hear the audio.

    Thanks guys. I decided to read the manual last night and found this out!! Maybe I shudda done that first.....but, hey, you know what it's like when you need to sort out an AV prob!
