    Hiya,

I'm trying to do some research on a digicam for my mum. I'm looking
at around the £250 mark and it'll be for basic point and shoot, the
software is important because it's gotta be easy to transfer to Video
    CD.

So can you point me toward an idea of models that would be suitable and
    good digi cam review sites.

The best cam i have found so far is the sony hc18e, looks ideal (if not
a little over 250) and seems to have the software i need included. What
    do you all think?

any help would be very appreciated.

Windows Moviemaker is SERIOUSLY easy to use.

I would check that out and use it first before
spenfing any cash on something else.
