I've got a new job and AFAIK there's no mobile phone provided. The only mobile I've ever used is the one issued to me with my current job - a Nokia (can't remember the model). So now I need to buy one, but where the heck to start? I don't want one with a camera (3 digital cameras in this house), I don't want PDA facilities (got a Palm), don't want to play games on it (no time), DO want excellent battery performance and a robust build. If you could help me narrow down my options it would be really useful so I don't end up being fobbed off by a salesman.

Nokia? Motorola? Sony? Last time I heard anything it was Nokia that ruled the roost, but things change.

    Hope this isn't too vague.
