Looks like my Pace v1 sky+ is in it's death throws.
    Its about 3 years old.

A few weeks ago, I noticed that sometimes when there was fast movement on screen, pixellation would occur. This was followed recently by intermittent loss of signal.

Now I have lost the signal on both outputs.

I know it is not the cabling or the lnb as I have connected up to my motorised system and get the same result.

Is this a know fault and is there any way to rectify it?

I tried connecting a signal meter directly to the receiver. On output 2 the meter lights up brightly, so power is coming out of the box.
On output 2, the meter also lights up, but not nearly as bright.
Could this indicate a fault with output 1?

    Any ideas gratefully received.

Assuming the worst, and my box is doomed for the junk yard, what is my cheapest option to replace my sky+? I would only want the box, and certainly do not need it installed by anyone.

If I have to pay silly money to keep sky, then it will be bye bye sky and I will spend my £41 a month on something else.
