Where to find the best deals on large HDTV plasma screens?

I'm working my backside off at the moment so I hit my yearly bonus and can invest in a HDTV Plasma panel and surround sound set-up for Christmas!

Got about £3000 in mind - where are the best deals to be had?

Thanks for any recommendations.

If you want the service to go with the deal then WWW.AV-SALES.CO.UK I can honestly say I have never had such good service from any company for any type of purchase.

Thanks for the replies. I fancy a 50" HDTV model (don't we all!)

I really like the look of the Pioneer PDP505XDE - it can be got for £3000 (but I've seen it priced as high as £5000)

Is anyone familiar with it?

Steve, spend £300 more and get the 506.

I had a 505, and it had to go................

nows there's a plan.

rent/borrow a transit, drive over to Germany, get bladdered over the weekend at the October beer festival , Then pick up a plasma on the way back and get a pat on the back from the missus for saving money. :D

Looks like the 506 is the one for me then.
What does it have that the 505 doesn't have? And why was it bad with Sky?

Got any pics of your 505/506 set-up, chaps?
