Where to download mp4 files?

Hi, im wanting to play movies on my in car entertainment, it accepts various files such as vidx and mp4 types.

where can I download full length movies in this format??
or what sort of program should I use to download them??

are there downloadable rippers that can convert dvd format discs into mp4?

any help is muchly appreciated!

well I know it isnt legitimate downloading but just wondering what way/where to do it.
tried bit torrent before but I didnt understand it lol.

as downloading copyright films is illegal you definitely wont find anyone here telling you how or where to do it, if they did it would be deleted.

However i think its acceptible to back up material you already own. For this the new Nero recode is very good, and probably as user friendly as you will find. It uses avc1 which is a good codec comparable to x264.

Perosnally i dont do this as it takes an age, especially in top quality.
