    Hi,

I’ve been lurking in this Forum for a little while now and have whittled my choices down to either… you guessed it… the Panasonic TH-42PWD7BS or NEC 42VR5.

After taking in the huge amount of information on this forum about these two panels I’m at a point where I need to see them with my own eyes to make a decision. Can anyone reccommend somewhere I can see these two side by side and talk to advisors who actually know what their talking about somewhere in or around the Kent area?

P.S. Thanks to everyone for all the info (and at times confusion  ) I have got from reading all your posts!

    Hi there

Enigma2099's dilemma is EXACTLY the same as mine - same screens, same quandary, just from reading the opinions of the guys who obviously know what they're talking about on here.

But he's in Kent, I'm in Falkirk in Scotland. Anyone out there know where I can get a decent look at these screens in operation at a reputable dealer in my neck of the woods?

    Cheers

Any decent demo recommendation locations in the Watford / Herts / NW London area? I'm looking to check out a PWD7 set up.

    TIA

Already spoken to Alastair before Xmas, HD, and was just waiting till the New Year to arrange a dem. Was just hoping that I could dem locally, make my decisions, and then get it all shipped from AV Sales to avoid having to take a day off work! Oh well, seems like Tunbridge Wells is the way to go...

Thanks pemberto and HD for your suggestions.

Looks like AV-Sales will be my first port of call to see the screens as set-up for the mega test! And as I've learned, even a slight difference in set-up seems to make a huge difference to the final results when viewing.

Gonna drop them a quick email now to see what can be arranged. Seems like in getting closer and closer to actually making a decision!

I'm sure your local quality dealer would be well pleased with this arrangement.

Sadly no local 'quality' dealers around me, MAW. Just Richer Sounds and Sevenoaks... :suicide:
