Where to buy windows 7

Upgrading my grandfathers pc to windows 7 and I can't seem to find any shop to buy it from.
I'm only around for the next week so I won't be able to order online.
Is it still possible to buy and download it from microsoft and make a boot disc myself? Can't find that link either!

Buy Windows 8, why upgrade to last years operating system
Grandfather may find it more logical to use and it's certainly faster
I have Windows 8.1 on my desktop and Win 7 on my laptop, Win 7 seems old and clunky after the finesse of Windows 8.1
