Given the dissapointing news that Microsoft will not reduce price for the console, can anyone suggest any good deals for a console?

    Many thanks.

Given that the price drop would have been only £30, i recommend you buy an xbox anyway. You can pick them up with sega gt 2002 and jet set radio at no extra charge. Both great games.

Seriously £130 for the best console yet and two free games isn't bad at all.

    Don't bemoan £30, i'm sure you can afford it :D :D :D

or if you are that skint, just pick up a second hand one from gamestation. Get it for about £90 with a 90 day warantee.

Where can I find the £130 for the bundle you mention?
I search so far the cheapest is £119.99 at amazon.co.uk but just the console. It will be nice just to pay £10 for 2 games though....

    :)

    Tried the high street??

    HMV, Virgin, Game, Gamestation??

There's bound to be something in there. You can pick up lots of great games second-hand too. I got amped for £10, Dead or Alive 3 for £7 which i love. I got dead or alive volleyball for £16 brand new from a hmv sale. Also got project zero new for £17 from play.com thats a great game. Lots of bargains to be had :D

I saw an advert recently which had an Xbox, Blinx, Jet Set Radio Furture and Sega GT 2002 for £119.99 in Woolworths! Blinx is actually quite a good game too!
