Hi All,

Not sure of the rules around advertising sites etc., but I'm looking to but an Xbox or a PS2 (hav'ny deciced yet, want xbox for 5.1, but PS2 for more, cheaper games), anyway, I'm looking to buy a "bundle" on-line.

Which shops are decent and cheap online?

Cheers,

Stephen.

Got mine from http://www.amazon.co.uk . I think they have the system for £152. It looks like they only have a "pick and mix" bundle at the moment.

But, I got mine in quick time and well packaged.

Hi XMan,

I actually bought one in HMV over the weekend.

£159.99 for the xbox, but then £20 off each full price game, upto 5 games.

Not too bad.

So Xbox, 4 games (Halo, DOA3, PGR and JSRF), extra M$ controller and JoyTech advanced SCART/Optical all for under £290.

Not to bad m8. If I remember Tesco Extra (Larger Tesco's Supermarkets) were doing the X-Box (PGR and Halo) for £159.99
There was a thread going on at www.dvdforums.com

Also if I remember ToysRus were doing some special for £197.99 with the x-box and i think 3 or 4 games. Can't remember what the were but nothing really decent.

Hope you enjoy your new X-Box :D :D

at first I wasn't as blown away as I was hoping for, but I was playing Halo last night for several hours ans realised how good a game this is. Plus the graphics while not immediately that much better than say GLQuake for the PC or soem of the PS2 games, are actually awesome, it's the little things that count.

Also, the graphics of JSRF are very cool and fast.

But the best thing is DD5.1 in games, it sounds soo cool through a good home cinema separates system. now if only Xbox could have Pro Evolution Soccer.

BTW, I checked Tesco's beofre I went ot HMV and I couldn't see that deal, shame as I would have jumped at it.

Looking forward to MOH: Frontline though.

:D :D

It sounds similar to DOA3. I've got DOA2 on the PS2 and found the game play similar but after a while the graphics on the X-Box start to stand out with the background drops and detail of characters on DOA 3. Haven't played Halo yet as I'm waiting for Halo II.

The only other game i've played so far is Jet set Radio future.Great game play but average graphics.
