Where to Buy Humax?

Have done a lot of research and found the LCD TV I want with all the right connections, however now I've chosen it I can't find anywhere to buy it???

Spent hours on the phone to companies around the south west region to no avail, am searching for the Humax LGB-26TPVR, managed to find it on Martin Dawes for £629 but have seen it on Scan for £550 (One-day offer), anyone know of anywhere else I can go? Who might Pricematch?

Cheers for any help!

Try http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/106453

Looked at the spec on the web site and I would really check into this one. Where is the 1080i HD Ready input statement, note E-Buyer do not state HD Ready! Most HD Ready TV's have at least a resolution of 1368x768. I would suggest looking at http://www.be-direct.co.uk/showprod...26R74BDX&SID=215eaf6f0d55759e53d4f9b1aeaf53a2, at least it is HD Ready and better looking, and with some money left over to put against a PVR (Cheap as I would imagine that is all you are going to get in the Humax).

Cheers for the reply Andy!

I've done a bit more checking and on the Humax website (http://www.humaxdigital.com/uk/products/dtv_lcd26_lgb-26tpvr.asp) and on Martin Dawes (http://www.bazaarbuilder.com/cgi-bin/martd/myshop.php?merchant=martd&prodid=903&details=1) it says that this product is HD Ready. Although I thought this at first too I've since found that you don't need HDMI ports necessarily to use HDTV as LektroPack do HDMI to DVI cables and adapters for that purpose.

Have spotted the one you mentioned in your reply as well as a number of others, but preferred the look of the Humax in the end and I want one with the VGA connection (as a monitor for my PC) and PIP for watching the tv while trying to work or use other sources.
