Hi all.

I've got about 2 grand to spend on a new gaming PC. I've specced what I would like on PCPartpicker and the cost of buying it all compared to just buying a custom prebuild from somewhere is only about £150. Plus add in the fact that trying to get an RTX3070 anytime soon, it's probably just more time efficiant.

Can you guys recommend where is the best place to go as all the main builders seem to have decent reviews with the odd horror story thrown in.

Much appreciated.

Wherever is cheapest for your spec. They ate all as bad/good as each other.

Personally, I have bought 2 pre-mades from Overclockers over the years, and have ben very happy with the result both times.

I personally wouldn't use overclockers as they are the biggest scalpers going with the 3 series cards. I know everyone has hiked the prices but they did it immediately,

My previous PCs have come from Chillblast and Dino PC.

Both were excellent - especially Chillblast after my AIO went faulty.

My latest self build was sourced from Scan, very helpful very quick and they sell prebuilt systems too. Before that I had a prebuilt system from PC Specialists once again very helpful and quick, was in my hands within one week. :)

I'm in the same boat - I want to buy a new gaming PC but really don't want to build my own again as I've done it every other time and don't enjoy it. Plus I suspect the high end graphics cards will be easier to get if you buy a pre-built system.

My current gaming PC is one I built for my 50th 10 years ago and I want to replace it for my 60th next month (where did all the years go :( )

Has the original poster on this thread purchased yet? If so, what did you end up buying?

I normally build my own, but as the only easy way to get a 30 series card is to buy prebuilt I've ordered from Scan. If you factor in the current prices of the cards on the open market, Scan seem to be charging very reasonable prices for their machines.
I've yet to receive my PC as yet, but it's expected in the next 10 days.
I've always found Scan to be quite good on the whole, have never had any problems from them.

I just received my prebuild from PCSpecialist this week after Delvey had posted it in the hardware bargain thread. Really impressed with the build and service. They also state in their warranty that you can put your own parts in as long as those don't contribute to any failures. So I immediately took it apart to swap in my Prism cooler, hard drives and PSU.

Personally like Scan. Though I always build my self and swap parts in and out over the years. Novatech used to be ok no idea anymore.
