Is This A Good One To Buy
I possibly could'nt say where to buy but a great projector for the money
I bought mine from creative audio and they have been really helpful good sevice and delivery. They also will throw in a sweetner as well
You on a diet?
Yes that's why I am thin on ideas
Neil got any of those £800 Inc delivery ceiling mount and delivery units left?
I think theres a few left, they all turned up yesterday.
a 4805 inc. delivery and wall mount for £800?
yep! best phone quick tho!!!!! 3 yr warranty too
i see, but its b stock , what does that mean?
and how would that effect the warrenty?
As far as inkow does not effect warranty at all they are going be exchanged units or DOA's so cant be sold new but at £800 for a full spec DLP with 3yr warranty and LAmp warranty!!! Phone audiovision for more info!
No change to the warranty at all, if it wasn't for the legal reason i have to state they are bstock you couldn't tell the difference.
If it wasnt for being totally skint i probably would have bitten neils hand off for 1 or perhaps even 2.............
B-stock means it comes with a 90 day factory warranty.
But be careful because alot of the units being called B-stock are really from Hong Kong and not real Infocus products.
Have just installed one of these myself and all I can say is that for the money they are incredible!!
what a load of c**p, they come direct from Infocus UK and they have a 2 year manufacturers warranty and we extend this to a 3 year warranty, please get your facts correct before making fleeting comments.... are you a disgruntled dealer who missed out on the deal
Neil, I just ordered a 4805 from you today.
I will repost in here when it arrives and I am sure i will be able to confirm that it is the genuine item.
A great bargain i feel (and i think you might be right about the sour grapes of the previous post)
Appreciate it, hope you enjoy your new projector, it left today on a 24hour so will be with tomorrow
Neil will your offer on the sp4805 be on again as I am not ready to buy one yet as my loft conversion will not be ready until the end of the summer. I would go for your pay 12 months later but it would be sitting in its box for at least 3-4 months, and I don't think I could have it just sitting there and not ripping it out of the box for a sneak peak .
Once in a life time opportunity, once there gone ther gone I am afraid
my proj arrived next day as you informed me. All excellent, well impressed with the projector - it is definately the genuine article - what a bargain!
Just one thing tho - the invoice says 1 yr guarantee - but i was under the impression from whoever i spoke to on the phone and your previous posts that the guarantee was 2 yr from infocus and 1 extra year from yourselves.
Would be grateful if you could clear this up for me!
Apart from this, a most satisfied customer and would most def deal with you again!
Oh and the free ceiling mount was a most welcome addition for nought pounds! (not used yet - needs a good sit down to work out how it is put together!)
No problem, glad your happy , the EPOS system we use defaults to one year, but the sales guy didn't change it to 3 years, can confirm we do give the unit a 3 year warranty, I will amend your receipt and post out new one for you.
You are the one that needs to get his facts straight, Because I am an authorized Infocus dealer and I am well aware of there warranties.
Are you even authorized to sell Infocus products or just there B-stock like any joe blow with a computer can judging by the prices on your website and the fact that the screenplay line is there to begin with I would have to say no you are not really an authorized dealer because you should be aware of the internet restrictions on this line not to even mention the MAP pricing.
Thats what I thought you are
So which authorised retailer are you?
Houston, Texas 77077
The difference may be that neil is in the UK where CSE solutions have the distribution rights and UK pricing etc are very different to US, no offence, but the UK is a very messed up market, potential grey improts from Europe (legal and above board) far east, US etc so warranty and pricing are set by CSE not infocus.................
I guess that could be the case here.
Idiot!!!! get your facts right before trying to slate me off, you stick to your side of the pond and i'll stick to mine
...and this makes Infocus UK marketing all the more confusing as their hands are tied with CSE holding UK distribution rights it seems. If you go to Infocus' UK Web Store there is no sight of the 4805. In fact they are plugging the SP5000 (LCD) at a knock-down price (£849).
I am new to the scene and wanted to get my hands on a 4805 after reading rave reviews. When I finally spoke to an Infocus manager I was given the low down. I also spoke to CSE until realising they only deal wholesale.
BTW the SP5000 was apparently destined for the Japanese market who wanted LCD - but clearly LCD is not Infocus' forte. They are now introducing it to the UK market but too early to see comparative reviews it seems. Even Infocus recommend the SP4805 over the SP5000... which must be saying something.
In the end I settled for a B-graded SP4805 from audiovision. Great service at a fantastic price and can't wait to experience it when opening the box next week [thanks Neil!]
