This is related to PlayTV which is a PVR device for the Playstation 3 games console. It is a longshot that someone will be able to answer since the device has been long since discontinued. Anyway, here's hoping
When viewing the information of a video file on the PS3 it includes a description. If I export to the XMB from PlayTV the description has episode information and often an episode number.
If I move this file to my laptop then it appears the description is lost.
Does anyone know if the description is stored somewhere in the file that I can view and manipulate?
My aim is to write a command line script that will strip out the episode number (eg S01E01) and add it to the end of the file name automatically.
