In the last few days ITV (103) has been virtually unwatchable. Picture and sound breaking up - even no signal on occasions. All other (tested) channels are fine. This is usually during cr@p weather.

Obviously this isn't normal! Rang Sky and after 50 minutes (45 to get through!) and testing channels, swicthing off LNB, etc etc no joy.

They reckon could be dish moved or LNB. What do you experts think? Mate recently had new LNB at cost £135! Sky offered £65 inc parts/labour with 3 month warrenty so took that BUT I don't want to have my Sky+ Pace V2 box changed as I have upgraded HDD. Sky said unlikely but would appreciate any ammo for the engineer in case I need it.

First problems in 2years so my be a lucky one but reading I'm not overly trusting about Sky!

    Thanks all

It would indicate a dish problem. Probably misalignment.

    Thanks BVM.

    Thats sort of encouraging.

Reading here and on DigSpy it seems I am not alone with problems on ITV though others report "wobbly" sound seemingly since that now legendary upgrade. Could mine be an extreme example?

Must admnit I doubt this is due to upgarde but would hate to give Sky £65 for nowt.

    Thanks all

Loss of programs during bad weather is almost certainly a dish problem. The signal gets degraded by the rain, so a weak signal gets even weaker.
