My friend had his broadband installed at xmas. The direct debit was set up and appeared on his account. He used to receive e-mail informing him that payments were due to come out of his account. The only thing is that he has never been charged, for the subscribtion, modem or instalation.

Where does he stand can the company turn around in another 6 months and charge him in full (if they ever do)? Or is there a time limit to when they can charge for?

Thanks

Something not to dissimilar occured to me with AOL.

But they had been taking DD's.

Jan this year thru April they took nothing. I received an email from them apologising that they had an error with there systems and that I wouldnt be charged for the 4 months!

Dont think that helps u though - sorry -

I am sure they will ask for the payment in full as described in the Terms & Conditions, unless they admit to being at fault.

Well it is obviously their fault as the DD had been set up and they don't even realise they are not getting paid.

Even though the DD is setup they can still ask for the full amount.

:thumbsdow
