Hi all,

I've recently rediscovered my love of reading and have been creating various wish lists and ordering a few online from Amazon. However I have noticed that some of them that are purchased as 'New' are new but come with various marks or scuffs on them, this must either be from how they are stored in the warehouse or the delivery method.

Anyone else get this?

This has happened quite a few times now that i'm looking for alternative sources for my books.

Forbidden Planet for me. Although a few from Amazon, but I prefer in the main to see the book I am buying as I am picky about dust jackets etc.

Graphic Novels from Forbidden Planet (in person), Amazon, Speedy Hen, or more recently, Wordery.

Do paper backs generally get delivered in new condition from other retailers?
