According to previous posts on here, dealers are supposed to be selling reconditioned Lexicon MC1s (that have been traded in for MC8s) for £1500. Does anyone know of anywhere that actually has one at that price? Most shops still seem to be optimistically charging £3K plus even for 2nd hand/ex-demo models.

(This actually isn't for me, but for someone who, AFAIK, doesn't frequent this forum).

Go to CSE directly? Or isn't that possible?

" We have started to get MC1's back in on the trade in against MC8.These
units will be sold back to the trade and should sell for about £1500.They
have all had a full check and come with a full war'.These units will not be
able to be used in the trade in for MC8.If you have any questions please
feel free to give us a call on01423 359054."

I think gsl???? user bought one for £1500.

Are there any dealers still talking to you NicB, or do they now lock the door when they see you coming for that next demo, or that next round of price cutting. ;) :)

I've just received mine literally today from Alistar at Signals on 01473 655171, he is a Lexicon dealer.

Price was £1500.00 with 12 mths warranty.

The unit itself has come boxed in as new condition with the latest software & again that all important 12mth warranty which makes buying a 2nd hand one with no warranty a non starter as far as i'm concerned.

I can't wait wait to rig it up & try it.

Give Alistair a call, i know he's due some more in but i believe he may well have quite a few waiting for these bargains.Failing that contact CSE & ask them for your nearest Lexicon dealer.

I'm sure the nice people at HiFiBitZ would supply you- they're running the discounted MC8's and must therefore have traded in units. Last time I bought off them, I spoke to Graham, he seemed to be the boss, try asking for him, it's 01254 882888.
(they also support the site, so they're definately nice guys :smashin: )
