Our Panasonic freeview box is about a year old and the small remote that came with it is getting worn down. THerefore the UP Program button that gets pressed the most is now getting worn down so much that it's getting increasingly difficult to change the channel.

So I was wondering where I would be able to get either a replacement or maybe these one for all remotes that will be able to tune into our freeview box.

    Thanks

Without hesitation, I recommend you get a OneForAll remote.

I'm currently using a OFA6 (URC7562) which I have programmed to operate my TV, Sky, VCR, DVD recorder and mini hi-fi - and I still have one button unused.

    Is yours here

I once had a Pronto which rely on using a touch screen and I just found it increasingly irritating. Girl friend broke it eventually; I think it was deliberate; I could not even pretend to be upset. :D

Either buy one of the third party solutions mentioned above or contact Panasonic who will give you details of their service people who will undoubtably be able to sell you a remote - make sure you check the prices though as sometimes parts prices can be stupidly high compared to the value of the complete package (for a very very old VCR the manufactures wanted £150 for a replacement remote)

Panasonic's spares distributor is SEME but as Astaroth said, make sure you're seated before asking for a price!

thats because they want you buy new equipment and not repair old stuff or indeed have the luxury of a remote that works on old equipment, after all thats what stops you buying new :suicide:
