    Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times already, but where can I get a power lead for my projector made up? I need 5m white cable to a figure 8 socket (right angled) to go in the back of my HS20. The one supplied is way too short! I can't find anywhere local that stocks the parts (connector) to do it myself. Local electrical shop said they are all moulded on now and need to be done by somewhere with suitable insurance to cover making up power leads.

    Please help! :lease:

    Thanks,
    Ed.

Found reference to Maplin's DIY Fig8 connector elsewhere in the forum, so got one of those today. Should do the job.... Would still be interested if anyone knows where to get a lead made up with a better plug ( 90 degree with strain relief).

Mark Grant on these forums would make you one up.

Problem is that I don't think there is a great range of available fig 8 plug types.

Plus Mark hasn't got any cable at the moment.
