    Hello all,

I'm looking for a decent CRT to play CS and some other FPS's too. For this LCD isn't really an option because of:

    1. Input lag
    2. Limited to 60 fps or extreme tearing

And also I'm sick of poor black levels on LCD's, poor motion handing and backlight problems also.

I've looked around and I can't find anywhere that sells CRT's.

Tbh I'm just confused and baffled as to why development and production of CRT's has pretty much come to a hault. From what I know they're superior to LCD in practically every way apart from size, which really isn't a huge issue. I thought new technology was supposed to progress things not make them worse.

I have considered buying used but I can't really travel long distances to pick them up.

    Thanks.

The DSG group (PC World, Currys, Dixons) occasionally have CRT monitors listed.

Or for second hand join your local Freecycle group. On my three local groups over the last few days there have been a 22", 19", 17" and a 15" or 14".

Your location in your profile might help offers from posters on here also.
