When's a good time to replace my projector lamp? Benq W1070

Greeting

My projector (bought in 2013) is reporting an equivalent lamp hour value of almost 5600 and is displaying a message stating that I should order a replacement lamp.
The lamp is rated "up to 6000 hours"
I already have the new lamp. So it's a matter of deciding when to go trough with the replacement.
Currently I am not experiencing any issues, the picture seems as bright as it has been always.
On the other hand I've heard that sometimes an old lamp can explode and cause a lot of internal damage. I can probably replace the lamp by myself, but am not sure I'll be able to deal with an exploded lamp situation.

What are your thoughts? Should I go ahead and replace the lamp now, or maybe wait until I hit a certain lamp hours value?

Thanks in advance,
Nissim

Yes, change it

Cleaning is good

Your new lamp should be at least original inside
