    Morning All,

Taking delivery of my LG PX11 this morning, and was quite looking forward to it but then.... I bleedin' dreamt about it last night. Took delivery and got it out the box, it had the flatron icon on it and fingerprints all over the screen, the sides where the speakers are were all scuffed and when I finally managed to get in to the service menu (after putting new batteries in the remote, they were dead) it was on a 3.16 firmware! To top matters off I couldn't find any phone numbers for local delivery company or for Dixons Direct!! DO'H!

Just goes to show - you CAN read too many threads before buying something!

    Nervously awaiting delivery

Sunday delivery? That's nice! No need to take a day off work!

What time did you wake up this morning? When I'm getting something, I always wake up early!!!

hehe, I know, and it didn't cost extra - set the alarm for 8 because they said between 8.15 and 12.15 but woke up at about 6.30

Where did you buy it from? Sounds like good old fashoined customer service to me. Very impressive.

Still, we'll reserve judgement until it is successfully delivered, eh?

UPDATE: Well, apart from the remote prob I'm absolutely well chuffed!! The picture is fine for me (although it looks better with higher contrast/brightness levels, I'll increase these after 200 hrs). No solarisation or break up of picture and it is definately as good as my 32" Sharp CRT which I actually paid more for a few years back. A massive thumbs up!

Waiting the hour gives the delivery driver enough time to get out of the neighbourhood, in case it's faulty :hiya:
