    http://www.brain-damage.co.uk/

All is revealed in the above link!! (search for Pulse)

And try and buy the Australian Pink Floyd Liverpool Live DVD while you are waiting.

Frankly, if you didn't know what Gilmour and Co looked like, you'd think this was Pulse.

    From here:

    http://www.aussiefloyd.com/

Athough the ordering part of the site seems to be down at the moment.

I can 100% recommend it. Anamorphic 16.9 widescreen, DD 5.1 etc. You WILL NOT be disappointed I can guarantee it. Have seen the band a couple of times and they really are as good as the original* and possibly the worlds best tribute band.
    Honestly!!

    * OK, maybe not quite, but if you heard this blind you would swear it was Floyd. They even 'speak' the taped words from DSOTM. Just buy it, and I'll pay you for it if you think it's rubbish (well, will give you 50p)

    Cheers

At long last it's getting near and I'll check out the Aussiefloyd DVD.

A friend of mine saw them in Scotland a couple of years ago and said they were note perfect. I've never seen them though. But did see Floyd do the wall. The programme is framed on a wall in the house. Missed them on the WYWH tour at the NEC through illness. My friends still rib me about what a show I missed to this day.

I just phoned Doug to tell him about PULSE and he said it was the Animals NEC show in 77 I missed, still he laughed after 28 years.

    Cheers

Also saw Floyd on The Wall tour at Earls Court (80-82, can't bloody remember the date!)
Have just 30 minutes ago watched the Australian Floyd gig at reference level on the projector to make sure I've not misled everyone!
And no- well, just buy it!

Oh, and check the jugs on the blond female backing singer!!

(although the one who does Great Gig In The Sky has the better voice...)

On the subject ot the Australian PF they start their UK tour next week. How do I know ? 'Cos I'll be in Harrogate for their fist show !

Hadn't heard of them until I came across a thread on one of the music forums and after the comments in this thread I'm really looking forward to next week. Hope they don't fluff it 'cos it's their first gig!

    See here for tour dates.

Also they have 2 new shows this July - WYWH and Animals . See here for details.
    See you there!

Seen the real PF 5 times - Knebworth, Earls Court, Wembley. Big part of my life from DSOTM onwards. DS is a great album as is Animals and the Wall but I remember them playing Shine On You Crazy Diamond on Saturday night at Knebworth (1975?) before they released a shorter version on Wish You Were Here. Fantastic. That track (part 1) is the biz. But then I could go on and on ... . In fact did I tell you about the time I won a BBC online competition because I was the first with the answer to 'What are the last words spoken on DSOTM?' .....

    Cheers Ray

    I've got a bike
you can ride it if you like
    it's got a basket
    a bell
and lot's of things to make it look good
I'd give it to you if I could
    but I borrowed it.
