When will the cheap (far east) HDD's hit the shops

Anyone know when the cheap HDD (or DVDR combi's) will hit the supermarkets/shops/e-tailers.

Just so long as they don't have Jeremy Beadle on the box I'll be happy. :laugh:
 
Did a bit more research and found the following units are being made in China/Hong Kong. I don't think they are available in this country yet and I can't vouch for the quality:
