when whatching dvds through tv what dvd player audio output mode?

    when whatching films etc on dvd through my tv what audio output mode should i put my toshiba 220 multi-region dvd player on?

    I think the setting is called 'downmix', enabling all sound to come through the TV speakers.

    on my dvd player i have the option of bitstream for watching films in dolby digital and dts etc and 2 channel and pcm

    2 channel then I think. Thats what it is on the 330.
