Columbia (inc Revolution Studios) releases on region 1 have a Cinema to DVD lead time of 4 months - even big blockbusters, such as Bad Boys 2, Once Upon A Time In Mexico and Charlies Angels : Full Throttle (terrible film - but still did very well), so we should be looking at a mid-november release, at the latest.
Your right I just found that out myself. I think they were on a 2 year sequence with Spider-Man which would have brought it round with the X-Men 3 in 2006 and they was going to release it earlier in the year.
X-Men filming starts next year. By rights though X-Men 2 (United) should have been out in 2002 was delayed a year because of the actors strike. Shame we could have been looking at X-Men 3 next year.
I hope the new version of The Fantastic Four ditches the plan to have the torch guy in human form and throwing flames (( like that character from X-men 2 ))
I read due to cost restrictions it was planned to ditch a full flame version but fans have protested and they might be having second thoughts, i sure hope so, i'm looking forward to The Fantastic Four.
