I know a fair few things in terms of SD probably being poor after say 42" but when does 1080p start too look poor? Would you say 58" above? In terms of 4K I'd possibly say anything above 65" so more native to get the best out of the PQ, 8K I'd say got to be starting at 75"?

I know many factors depend on the source, viewing angle/distance as well as upscalers on OLEDS/LED's also some projections display 1080p well at 80"

Does anything have any articles or UTube links/opinons on this pleae?

Many Thanks

Many cinemas are "only" 2K which is marginally above HD,

Of course, they have much higher bitrates, but I've seen Bluray natively projected onto a 120" screen and it was excellent.

I have a 65'' OLED and 1080p blu ray looks really good on it, certainly better than streaming 4K. What makes the difference on streaming is HDR content. Depending on what you want to spend it's fair to say that some cheap 4K sets makes a real pig's ear out it.
