wheel availability in the London area

Hi Guys n Gals

anyone know of any high street retailers stocking the G27 or DFGT wheel? or are they as rare as hens teeth?

also, is the wheelstand pro and online only order or is it also available in the high street?

Not sure about the G27, but I have just checked 2 Argos stores near me (Watford) and both stores have the Logitech Driving Force GT Wheel in stock for £80.

I asked them to email me when they had them back in stock a week or so ago. Ended up getting the cheaper Logictech from Maplins for £25 in the end though!

Maybe check your local Argos, or depending where you are in London (north, north/west?) jump up A41 or M1 to Watford? I pick my kids up from Walthamstow (east) every week and even with A406 traffic at Bowes Road only takes an hour.

Just rushed out and picked up a DFGT for 80 pounds from gamestation in bromley. Game had loads of them at 90 pounds. Now to track down the wheelstand pro.

I'm pretty sure you won't find a wheelstand pro in the high street, although you can get other wheel mounting products. I may be wrong though since the wheelstand pro has become quite popular so I guess they may have started wholesaling it.

The wheelstand pro can be ordered direct from Poland here: wheelstand pro

They're not a specialist gaming company, more a metalwork company who happens to have some gaming enthusiats so they figured they'd branch out and produce the wheelstand. It's a good piece of kit though, and they're helpful reliable guys so I don't think you should worry about ordering from them directly if it's what you want :smashin:

EDIT: Hope I'm allowed to put the link to the company in. If not then mods feel free to remove and humpo - you can find it by putting "wheelstand pro" into a well known search engine begining with "G" ;) (it's the name of the product dot com)
