Something mentioned on another thread prompted me to ask this.

What has been your most eagerly awaited next episode of a TV programme?

Either second part of a cliffhanger, start of new series etc.

Mine is probably the start of S3 of Buffy after she had run away at the end of S2.

Is this for a future episode or ones in the past?

Not sure what you mean by ones in the past. I mean the next episode of any tv programme. This means any TV programme past or present, like my example of Buffy.

you read my galactica post didnt you.

Well the next episode of galactica, but I also have a strong curiosity about the last episode of enterprise, just to see what a mess they are gonig to make of it.

also I mentioned on the other post, "best of bothworld part 2" on TNG

stargate sg1 , I think it was called into the serpents lair. the episode befor end s with dr jackson coming back from an alternate reality where earth has been invaded. His last line of the episode. " were all in very big trouble!" :smashin:

    Ooooh,

    Tricky !!

I like your Buffy one Greg, another couple I'd put forward are :

    End of season 2/start of season 3 X-Files to see whether Mulder really had committed suicide;

End of season 1/start of season 2 Spooks to see how they resolved the house blowing up,, with Tom standing right outside........

Oh, and just about every episode of 24 :)

    Ian.

Yes! :) Thats what gave me the idea for this thread

With the wait between end of Buffy S2 and start of Buffy S3, I was counting down the days and hours. Never happened like that again, always keen to see a concluding/new episode of a TV series I am watching but never as keen as that one of Buffy.

    24, 24, 24, 24, 24, 24, 24, 24. This is the BEST program ever.

Soprano's - also the ultimate in television. Never saw Season 5, as I was catching up on the first 4 (after a recommendation). Roll on June and the release of the DVD set - and goodnight to my life for 3 days.

I used to look forward to X-Files up to Season 5 but it got a bit silly after that for me. Also when Band of Brothers aired I was wetting myself for the next episode.

Dad's Army, Season 8 Episode 5: High Finance; UK Gold 13:40 tomorrow.

The only episode I don't yet have recorded onto DVD-R.

(Yes, I know they are all coming out on DVD in the future.)

I'm really looking forward to the new Dr Who, looks like it's going to be class !

Of the current stuff on telly I know it's sad but I'm loving The Apprentice can't wait till the next episode. I think it's brilliant stuff, the ending is always superb...."I've had enough, you're fired"

Ahhh - beat me to it!

But for me also the answer must be:

    Doctor Who: "Rose" - 26th March 2005, BBC1, 7pm!

Hi Rasczak, those trailers look amazing and it looks like it's going to be good no doubt.

Is it just me but BBC have been turning out some class programming lately ? After years of so much dross, they look like they are returning to quality programmes.

Few recent ones spring to mind including Michael Palins Himalaya, Dragons Den, Apprentice and of course Dr Who :)
