Well, it's been out for long enough now, so what games can you just not get enough of on your GBA or GBA SP?

For me, it's Mario Kart and Ecks vs Sever  I haven't even completed all the MK circuits with 3 stars in 50cc mode (completed all the regular circuits, but not the hidden circuits), let alone 100cc and 150cc  and although I invested a ridiculous amount of time to finishing Ecks vs Sever (both as Ecks and as Sever), I still can't stop playing it, it's just so immersive! Really must get the sequel at some point ... Golden Sun comes in a close 3rd - very addictive...

    Your turn now ... :D

At the moment, gotta be Yoshi's Island. This is an absolute blast :D and very annoying at times too!

Kuru Kuru Kururin is good fun also. :)

Tactics Ogre : Knight of Lodis - This is a seriously addictive game, got about 60 hours racked up on this now.

Advance Wars - Seriously good strategy, amazing replay value.

Metroid Fusion - Good platform action, although replay value is low.

My vote goes to Advance Wars - one of the most addictive games I have played on any system!

I'm with Sinzer, Advance Wars and Tactics Ogre. Both are outstanding, Tactics Ogre is really good.

Also Golden Sun and Mario Kart.

I love Advance Wars too. The presentation alone is immaculate.

I've never even heard of Tactics Ogre though. What sort of game is it?

Bubble Bobble Old and New is great. Pure nostalgia coupled with perfect gameplay. Includes a free link cable as well. This game hasn't left my SP since the day I bought it.

Its a strategy RPG, kinda a cross between Golden Sun and Advance Wars. TO is huge though. Very hard to find as it was only released in the US in limited numbers, I picked up mine of an Edge user, but they do appear on EBay, don't try the JAP version its totally unplayable unless you read Jap.

    Cheers,

    Great post guys!
Followed your advice and now totally addicted to Advance Wars,
    what a brill game.
Also got mario kart, golden sun, zelda LTTP and have £10 off ecks vs server (1 or 2)when Game have it in stock. (Bloke says 2 is better than 1)
The SP really is good with this quality.
Should keep me going for a while!

Just been reading about Advance Wars 2 - sounds like it'll be more of the same, great stuff :)

Also, just noticed that Play have added "Ecks vs Sever: Ballistic" to their 2 for £20 offer. That was just the incentive I was looking for :D Links to offer here: http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74560

I went for Boulder Dash because I used to love the game on my Commodore 64.

But there are better games there:

Broken Sword is a superb immersive role playing game where you talk to lots of characters. Has great reviews. I really love playing it.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 would be an excellent choice if you like fighting games. I haven't played with this much yet, but think it's fab so far.

Rayman Advance is excellent, but very hard. Only worth getting if you're going to persist with it. I gave up a while ago, but hope to return to it at some point.

I like Wolfenstein 3D and Turok Evolution too :)

    Check out reviews at www.computerandvideogames.com

Also, once you add 2 to your cart, all the other games listed will be £10 too. So you could buy 3 for £30 for example. You don't have to buy them in pairs ;)

The memories from Mario Kart Advance, ahhh what a game... I loved that. My friend and I often linked and raced, that was amazing. Shame my GBA's screen broke :thumbsdow :(

    went for street fighter alpha.
Ecks is out of stock (sob)
but i suppose i have more time for golden sun and advance wars!
The SP is the best thing since sliced bread.
    Portable gaming at its best,
I can sneek off at work and have a blast!
Shame about the headphone socket though.

Don't forget Yoshi's Island or Mario Advance 2 (Super Mario World) THE greatest platformers ever made.

The castlevania series is also awesome.
