Whats you Vista Score ??

i think the AMOUNT of ram only limits the score you can get, to up the score you want to make sure the ram is in dual channel mode, that its the fastest ram possible (probably 800mhz) and also manually setting the timings in the bios often increases the score (i.e 4-4-4-12 2t for 800mhz ddr2)

Nah the system is flawed, i can re-test and get better score, then re-test again and guess what ?

I can get worse or better score, the highest i have had for the ram was 5.4 and the lowest was 3.8

All tests done with nothing else running, its a silly system.

Mine is 5.2 here.

I am happy with that for now.

But will upgrade in a few months time.

Although my score is only 4.2 because of the graphics card, I'm not a gamer so the RAM and disk give me what I need.

Ok, now you see I'm starting to doubt the reliabilty of these scores. My score is 4.2 and my rig is atleast 2years old and nowhere as near as powerful as yours.

All 5.9's on mine with the same processor- although the memory was 5.7 until I updated my board to the latest driver. Don't know how you upload the pic of the score though- it just says error when I do a screendump when I try to upload....

Your cpu score is way low, you should get 5.7 with that cpu.

I have just dual booted Windows Vista on my Apple imac (New Model) and this is my score

Processor - 5.3
Memory (RAM) - 4.8 (2GB)
Graphics - Nvidia 8800GT - 5.9
Gaming Graphics - 5.2
Primary Hard Drive - 5.8 (170GB after partition)

Is this a Good score?

Memory (RAM) - 2GB OCZ RAM - 5.9

What RAM type do you have please? I've got 2 GB OCZ in my machine but only get a 4.9 score... Is there anything I need to do for it to be recognised differently or am I missing something?

Cheers

Hes probably running under dual channel mode, if you have compatable motherboard place your memory in the same coloured slots i.e both the red ones if all your motherboard ram slots are same colour it will not run in dual channel mode.

Here is mine. The c2d is actually running at 2800. Brand new hardrive sata2 and still only get 5.7 what do you need to get 5.9.

you need to put the ram timings into the bios, that can help things

Raptor would probably do it, or raid 0, i have two raptors in raid 0 giving me 5.9

5.9 across the board. Agree Raptors would probably give you the higher score. It works for me...
