Just got a Grundig GDS-3000 Sky digibox. On the back there is a removeable panel over which is written "digital interface". I removed the panel and had a look inside. There is a space and a series of pins which look like they are for attaching a ribbon cable to.

Does anybody know what this is for? There are no clues in the manual. Could it be for adding an SDI output to the box?

Very interested in your thoughts on the matter.

    Cheers,

    DAve

Isn't this thing basically a PCMCIA slot as used in other satellite systems for a CAM?
