What's the most awful film in your collection?
That would have to be either
Lost in Space or Waterboy. I have no clue why i bought them. Does anyone wanna buy these off me? LOL
It was Titanic until I gave that sh*t away recently..... I think I'll have to say M:I-2 or The Mummy...
Joan of arc
Universal Soldier 2
No bout a doubt it: MISSION TO MARS!!!
I bought this on pre-order, as I generally like these sci-fi blockbusters. But this is shocking! But I've recently seen an even worse film! 'The Patriot' with Steven Seagal has been on Sky recently. What a pile of doggy doos that is!! You can suffer bad films when they don't take themselves seriously, it's worth watching for the laugh But Seagal should have been shot for producing/directing/acting in this sh*t!!
That goes for all the 'names' in MTM. They really shoulda known better
Would have been Mission Impossible 2 .I am gald I got rid of this recently.
Highlander - because of the lousy quality
The Shadow - because it's a stupid movie
Virtuosity - because it blow up my sub (literally!)
Luckily I managed to sell 'Michael Jackson - History on Film' before ....
I bought Highlander because I really do like that movie, but the sound and picture are just so bad.
The Shadows was the first DTS title I could get my hands on but turned out to be a dissappointment otherwise and I certainly did not expect that the sub's amplifier goes up in smoke and the driver (coil) melts when the LFE in Virtuosity kicked in.
Though I am not 100% sure it's due to the DVD you will understand that I will not try to play that disc again.
If I can't eat it, drink it or fudge it, I ain't interested.
its between the mummy and the thin red line.
mmmmmmm yep its the thin red line.what a load of sh@te!
cruel intensions, its boring
ExistenZ, by a long way !
p.s. for me, by far the worst part of Mission to Mars, was Tim Robbins, closely followed by Gary Sinise. Robbins because of his sneery smug acting, and Sinise because he looked like he was on drugs throughout.
In my collection it's between:
Dusk til Dawn 2
What a croc of sssshhhhhh....you know the rest!
PS - I really liked MI:2 and Lost In Space!
Alien Ressurection(not Alien 3! ).
That's pretty lame Milhouse!
The Lost World (JP 2)
Everyone here seems to be spoiled by modern films and may be missing the point. Some of the films listed are actually quite good (although largely a matter of taste) and I certainly have enjoyed some of them. Some are oscar winners, but they all lack that total lack of quality which marks out the truly worst films in existence.
Nobody has mentioned the classic films of Ed Wood. For example, largely recognised as THE worst film ever is Plan 9 From Outer Space. I am proud to own this masterpiece of crud because it is truly a stand out selection in any discussion on this particular topic.
Check out "Ilsa - The Wicked Warden" (anchor bay) or any other Jess Franco stuff for truly bad film.
I can't help but luv'em...
Plan 9 is far from the worst film ever made...See "Glen or Glenda?" for further proof.
Bought R2 version for 9.99 in HMV, took it home. Watched forst 30 mins (not DD5.1) and sold it to a second hand shop the next day.
'Much A-do about nothing'.. But it came with the Player, so I can't take credit for buying it...
I sometimes feel like throwing it away, just so I don't have to see it in my collection!
Of the ones I bout, MI:2 and I have to say that 'Magnolia' too.. I just didn't get it and can't see myself watching it again..
No NO NO!
Worst film is definitely Manchester United The Promised Land. Got it as a Xmas present and even the biggest, rose tinted, Reds fan couldn't think this was anything other than the pile of smoking doggy doo that it is!
"You're a big man but you're in bad shape and I do this for a living, so behave yourself"
Complete garbage. Travolta and Cage should be deeply ashamed.
What a predicament?!
One of my fave films and you slate it Out of interest, have you heard it on a good system? - it has a fantastic soundtrack IMO
...and I like the story too. Oh well...
"Batman & Robin" - I am now publicly shamed!!
Yet I thought I would hate "Seven Years In Tibet" (Which I got free), but it was suprisingly good, I thought anyway!!!
Not strictly a film - Ultimate Fighting Championship 2. Truly dreadful DVD, 1.5 hours long 10 minutes of fighting. Very poor. Avoid!
The Unauthorised Star Wars Story was total an utter PANTS! Almost 2 hours (if memory recalls) was stated on the case, but 10 minutes is all it got.
I offered this in an ad. to anyone sending me a first class stamp. I GOT ZERO REPLIES !
There was also a really bad surfing film, but the title escapes me.
Avoid this with your life!!!!
The Last Broadcast.....
What a complete and utter pile of sh**, obvious rip off and copy of The Blair Witch Project. Only useful as a coffee coaster!!!!
Well, I don't own it as such, but The Blair Witch project is the worst film I have EVER SEEN, if that counts... Right up (or down) there with Little Witches and Easy Rider. It's my personal Worst Movie top 3 ever.
without a shado of a doubt Manhunter was the biggest pile of pants I have ever seen. Glad I only borrowed the DVD !!
Ok, I don't own this but rented for the following reason's:
On the box it said by the Director of "Romeo Must Die" and starring Bruce Lee's Daughter.
The film in Question:
And Now Your Dead
WHAT A TURKEY!!!!!!! Stay way from it at all costs!!! This film is SOOOOOOOOO BAD!
There were one or two enjoyable fight scenes but that is it the rest is really so damn awful!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Out of interest did anyone else rent this out? it now has a sticker saying it's "Exclusive to Blockbuster" coz no other rental shop would let it in the door is my guess!
Last Broadcast is not all that bad, considering it was made well before Blair Witch?
Which is the rip off?
Almost forgot - Jackie Chan's "Gorgeous" Absolute garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!
